Cosmetic treatments we offer
Every smile starts in a different place, so we match the treatment to what you want to change, how long you want it to last and your budget. These are the cosmetic treatments we provide in our Weston office:
- Porcelain veneers: thin, custom porcelain shells that cover stains, chips, gaps and uneven teeth, usually in two visits.
- Teeth whitening: in-office whitening in about 60 to 90 minutes, or custom take-home trays over 10 to 14 days.
- Cosmetic bonding: tooth-colored resin that repairs chips and closes small gaps, usually in one visit.
- Crowns and bridges: tooth-colored restorations for teeth that are broken, worn or heavily filled.
- Invisalign clear aligners: straighten crooked or crowded teeth, starting with a free orthodontic exam.
- Dental implants: replace missing teeth with implants that look and work like natural teeth.
Which treatment fits your smile?
A quick guide to the concerns we hear most. Dr. Ramos confirms the best option after an exam, because the health of your teeth and gums comes first.
- Yellow or stained teeth: whitening first. If stains do not respond to whitening, veneers or bonding can cover them.
- A chipped or cracked tooth: bonding for small chips; a crown or veneer when more of the tooth is damaged.
- Small gaps or uneven edges: bonding or veneers. Larger spacing or crowding is often better treated with Invisalign.
- Several concerns at once: a smile makeover that combines treatments in one plan, in the right order.
- A missing tooth: an implant or a bridge.

Cost, insurance and payment
The cost of cosmetic dentistry depends on the treatment, the number of teeth and the materials. We review the cost of each option with you before any treatment starts, so there are no surprises.
Most insurance plans treat purely cosmetic work, such as whitening and veneers, as elective. Treatment that also restores a damaged tooth, such as a crown, may be partly covered. No insurance? Our in-office discount dental plan includes exams, cleanings and X-rays, plus 20% off eligible treatment.
New patients: $99 full-mouth X-rays and full exam.

Cosmetic dentistry questions
How much does cosmetic dentistry cost in Weston?
It depends on the treatment and how many teeth are involved. After your exam, Dr. Ramos gives you the cost of each option so you can choose what fits your goals and budget.
Should I choose veneers or bonding?
Bonding is a quicker, lower-cost fix for small chips and gaps and is usually done in one visit. Porcelain veneers take about two visits, resist stains better and typically last 7 to 20 years. Dr. Ramos can show you which suits your teeth.
Does insurance cover cosmetic dentistry?
Usually not for purely cosmetic treatment such as whitening or veneers. Treatment that restores a damaged tooth may be partly covered. Our in-office dental plan offers 20% off eligible treatment.
How long do whitening results last?
Usually six months to two years. Avoiding staining foods and drinks and doing occasional touch-ups helps results last longer.
Can I straighten my teeth without braces?
Often, yes. Invisalign clear aligners work for many teens and adults. Start with a free orthodontic exam to see if Invisalign is right for you.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Our team speaks English and Spanish.
